I typically order all-balls kits but needed the pivot works set for a ktm that I'm working on. Seem like quality bearings to me. Thanks rm for the low price
Fit like oem bearings. Great price. Only gave 4 on longevity because I only have a few rides on them & don't know how long they will last. So far so good.
My overall impression of this product was good. From the pricing to the installation
Installing these bearings were good! Nice tight fit. Shipping was fast. And was very easy to select the right ones for my machine. Before I installed new bearings my wheels had a lot of play, now is like new and no play with smooth ride!
Bearing seem good and the seals are nice. Everything needed for a change. Only odd thing I noted is that they seemed tight to the bearing spacer, 99.9% chance that was my fault though I'm not entirely aure how I messed up this time around. Well time will tell and,I bought another set just in case.
Very Fast Shipping, Great Products at Great Prices Highly recommended have been purchasing from RockyMountainAtv for years now and will continue. Thank you all again!!! :)
This is a great set of bearings. Install was as normal but I like the updated kit. Now 2 years in the bike and still going strong. I do repack all bearings before installing. And a lifetime warranty- What??. Will always buy these if the option is available.
I've had various Pivot Works wheel bearing kits for both front and rear wheels on my KTMs as well as a few Kawasakis Ive owned over the years and they generally hold up pretty well. The bearings actually come fairly well greased from the factory, which is rare, and the seals they provide are pretty high quality as well. They held up much better then Moose Racing bearings, which I tried once before.
Very disappointing product. They only lasted 5 months. I called Pivot Works because there is a lifetime warranty on the bearings. I was told I had to remove them and ship them back to Pivot Works before they would send me the new ones. I paid to have them installed and explained that the mechanic did not want me leaving the bike there for several weeks until the new ones arrived. In the alternative, they offered to sell me new ones and if they excepted my warranty they would credit me the cost but not the shipping. This is basically like not having any type of warranty. I would not recommend this product.
Bearings where the exact fit. Price for both bearings is the same as one bearing up here. And that includes the dollar exchange and DHL 3 day service charge. I ordered these along Sedona Rip Saw tires. They arrived to Alberta Canada in 3 days, but I paid for the DHL service whoch brought the price up quite a bit, but still 2-3 hundred dollars cheaper!
Sent me the right front bearings but the wrong rear bearings. Haven't rode yet but headed out first of may. Will tell more after. The front bearings were super easy to install. I'm not upset over the bearing mix up (it happens)
Great product super affordable perfect fit with an unbeatable replacement program there is no reason why these wouldn't be the ONLY bearings you should ever get!
Truth is your wheels take a beating so do the bearings every year. These kits are better that some of the factory bearings. The Yamaha front wheel bearings are junk. Replace them ASAP.....Bell ray greese and bearing like milk and Oreos
This is a great bearing set that I had no problems with and if you read the package you may also be able to send them back and return them for a new set.
I tried another brand and it failed within a year. The seals on the rear bearings seem like they fit much tighter to the axle that the other brand I used. So far so good.
Put these in my KTM 300 and I am happy to say that they are holding up well to a lot of miles.Make instillation easier by placing new bearings in freezer ,clean out hub assembly & use the correct style bearing tool ( a socket may be used in a pinch) Tap tool evenly & make sure bearing & seal goes in straight .A little grease goes a long way on mating surfaces.
The bearings are great. However it seems that rzr's normally have some free play in the rear bearings. So you might want to wait till they are noisy are something.
Machine this part was bought for: 2012 POLARIS RANGER RZR XP 900
clean your hub and sleeve and apply a coat of grease so the aluminum does not corrode. Here is a tip. Apply grease to the back of the new seals where the tension spring is. This will keep it from rusting and loosing tension on the seal. Wheel spacers need to be free of grooves for a tight seal.
BEST ANSWER:It is only for the rear wheel but it is bearings and seals for both sides of the wheel. You would need to purchase a separate front wheel bearing kit. Check the title of the products before making purchases. Sometimes we just glance at them thinking its what we need.

For Motorcycle's the kit includes seals and bearings to completely do the rear wheel. For ATV riders there is no need to buy two kits since each Pivot Works kit includes everything you need for the rear wheels.
BEST ANSWER:It helps, but not necessarily. You can use a punch to work out the single side evenly, then a socket to push out the double side. It always helps to have the right tool, but on a budget, there are ways around it. Lots of videos online to show how. Just be patient when removing and installing, as to not bind them in the hub. Put the bearings in the freezer for a few hours and heat the hub a little.

You will need some sort of bearing removal tool. In most cases you can get away with a long bolt and some sort of modified washer and socket just bigger than the diameter of the bearing to essentially create your own removal tool. FYI I would stay away from the pivot works bearings and purchase the OEM stuff - the pivot works stuff is Chinese and does not hold up near as well as the OEM
It can help, but I have always removed mine with a hammer and a socket or large punch. If you have access to a press that works well too. Even a used rear axel works well.

BEST ANSWER:I looked into this and I do not see your year outlander listed that it will fit. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. But if you were to order this it would come with enough for both sides.
