Continuing their upgrading trend, REV’IT! has taken their Horizon Jacket through a significant redesign so the new Horizon 2 has revised armor, revised weatherproofing, and revised usability that makes it one of the best 3 to 4 season options for tourers, commuters, and adventure riders.

Better yet, the Horizon 2 comes in with a lower price than the previous Horizon, even with a good set of refinements.

The biggest changes to call out on the Horizon 2 start with the Aquadefence ventilation you get at the chest. While the previous version was a good performer, that performance got increased with more direct airflow, easier to use FidLock magnetic fasteners to hold the vent open, and a refined sealing function that will keep you dry.

The waterproof Hydratex lining is still baked into the outer shell, but with the increase in direct venting that lining won’t block wind from reaching your body, letting you stay cool in the summer.

A full-sleeve thermal liner is there for the colder days, reflectivity has been tweaked for more visibility, and lastly armor gets a big boost with shoulder and elbows moving up to REV’IT!’s CE level 2 rated Seeflex protection.
