The Sand Urban Jacket is new for REV’IT!’s lineup and a big step towards bridging the gap between purpose built off-road jackets, and attractive, urban-inspired options. Getting down to brass tacks, the Sand Urban is the same 4-season, waterproof, insulated, and armored jacket as the Sand 3 it’s derived from, but with key changes that create a very distinct variation.

Most noticeable is the overall styling change that has less technicality showing on the exterior with elimination of the reflectivity panels, attachment molle system, and some of the more adventure specific features.

Instead the look is much cleaner, more refined with dark earth tones giving a good-looking maturity to the jacket. Fit will stay the same waist length cut, fit adjustment and the rail system are both as good as ever, and the enlarged zippered ventilation scheme is still there for massive amounts of venting.

Armor has changed from SEEFLEX™ level 2 to a slimmer SEESMART level 1 protector to give4 a lower profile appearance, and exterior materials are different with a poly-cotton main fabric and Oxford reinforcement at the shoulder that imitates classic British styling.

REV’IT! delivers performance far beyond most other city oriented options with the Sand Urban, and it’s a natural pair for bikes like the neo-retros, the scramblers, and the on-street adventure bikes.
