Renthal Ultralight Rear Sprockets start their lives off by getting CNC machined from 7075 T-6 aluminum, an alloy that is prized for its strength and wear resistance. A near perfect material for sprockets. The alloy is light weight, and with Renthal’s drilled patterns, the Ultralight weighs up to 66 percent less than comparable steel sprockets while retaining a comparable lifespan. The material isn’t the only thing that promotes longevity. Self-cleaning cuts are machined into each chain groove to clear away mud and debris from sensitive wearing surfaces, so both the sprocket and chain are kept clean of abrasive particles. There’s almost no downside to putting a Renthal Rear Sprocket on your motorcycle or ATV.
Specs:
Replacement aluminum rear drive sprocket
66% lighter than comparable steel sprockets
Comparable lifespan to much heavier sprockets
7075 T-6 aluminum alloy

I purchased 2 of these sprockets in the last year, one black and one red. Both have fit my machine awesome, work great and look sweet! So far have been holding up well. Makes the bike look like the Pro's! Plus you can't beat the awesome Renthal stickers for the swing arm!
The sprocket worked great although I'm not fast enough to tell the difference between this and another sprocket. the life was good and the color was nice,
Have run renthal sprockets for a long time, from 175hp superbikes to dirtbikes. They are extremely light, they were pretty good for aluminum and look great. Sprockets are always a trade off of durability and weight. Usually less rotating mass and less unsprung weight is a good thing! They are a great sprocket with good looks and performance to back it up.
I am rebuilding an old YZ and the rear sprocket was missing teeth and shark finned so bad it would barely hold a chain - straight to Rocky Mountain ATV I go and after searching through dozens of options, I settled on the Blue Renthal rear sprocket. Fit and finish are top notch (as expected from anything Renthal). Looks great on the old machine and works even better!
Bought to add some color to my bike, as if it wasn't blue enough. Easy to install and took twenty or so minutes to install. Remember to use that loctite!
This all aluminum sprocket is not good for enduro and I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. I'm sure it's great for weight reduction for MX racing.
I had mine about 6 months and I could see the teeth starting to get a curve. I lubed my chain before every ride so it's just not a good enduro sprocket.
Great fit, purchase the R1 works chain along with your sprockets when your replace them to ensure even wear on your sprockets and chain, otherwise, you can ruin their lifespan.
I have to admit, I trust my handlebar control to Pro Taper, but I will never put any sprocket on my bike that is not Renthal. Beautifully crafted, durable, and effective. They are the best in the business when it comes to drive components. You will not be disappointed.
The steel sprocket is extremely durable. I bought the black sprocket which looked great when brand new. As with anything on a dirt bike, things are going to wear and the powder coating on these does eventually wear where it passes thru the chain guard. Wear on the aesthetics aside, the sprocket is a great product.
Looks great Lines up and fits like a dream Nice Color Nice and lightweight Only thing I bad about it is it scratches very easily Other than that it's great??
Highly recommend this product and with rocky mountain you get the best price out there. Great with weight reduction and riding just about anywhere. I can see why the big names use them. Installed going on two weeks with no trouble.
Super solid! I just went to a 51 tooth rear for my 2016 KTM 350 sx-f and it really made the transition from 2-3rd gear much better on the track. I felt like I was always wound out in 2nd, now I'm more balanced between 2nd and 3rd.

Does the sprocket come with bolts to install?

BEST ANSWER:Of all the Renthal sprockets I've ordered over the years They have never come with a bolt kit. I have purchased bolt kits separately in Titanium, steel and stainless from RMATV though.

BEST ANSWER:This sprocket is very well made. Your stock sprocket is most likely steel and the renthal is made of aluminum. Front and rear sprockets along with the chain should be replaced as a set. You will not get good service life from the sprocket if you are adding it to a worn chain. If replaced as a set you will get the most out of it. The steel sprocket should last longer than the aluminum, but still needs to be installed with a new chain and front sprocket. The renthal sprocket is made as a performance upgrade.

This is a light weight high performance sprocket. I believe one of the best on the market, if not the best. This sprocket was not deigned to last, but was designed for light weight performance and you can get pretty good life out of one if you keep up with your chain replacement. If you're looking for long lasting you'll want a full carbon steel or an aluminum sprocket with carbon steel teeth. Hope this helps, good luck
BEST ANSWER:Extremely light, about as heavy as a piece of cardboard the size of the sprocket folded over onto itself to give you a more real world answer.

What will give my 07 crf150r small wheel more power? I want more power in lower gears and out of turns what would you recommend?

BEST ANSWER:The only way to get "more power" to the rear wheels is more engine HP, or less resistance in the driveline. Adding a rear sprocket with a higher tooth count can shift your gear ratio around to where it better suits what you need. Think of how a 10 speed bicycle works and you'll more readily understand. Gearing doesn't add power, it just moves it around so can use it more efficiently.

Go up on your tooth count on the rear sprocket, your going to lose some up in the higher but your lower will be somewhat snappier. I've got a 15 yz450f and I went from a 48 to a 50 in the back and it was noticeable. I do more trail riding so I wanted those lower gears as well. And I also run a Renthal rear sprocket and have had no issues with it. Hope this helps.
A larger rear sprocket will will give more torque. The draw backs are less top speed and you have got to "Johnny on the spot" with the shifting. I think the best fix is a crf250!
I would really like to get a blue sprocket for my 2010 rmz250 but all I'm seeing is silver and black for my bike, could I fit lets say a 50t blue sprocket made for a yzf250 on my bike or is it different bolt patterns?
