Good stock replacement
Fits good, chain rub noise is louder than the stock, but maybe because it’s new.

Will try another manufacturer next time
Kind of a poor fit on my 16 YZ450FX. The space between the 2 holes I needed to use where a little too far apart and there was really no good pry point. I ended up using a round file to open the back up hole a bit. Then, there are those bottom screws. They seemed to spin forever without coming to a good snug point. The bottom plate was snug, but the bolts felt like they should be tighter. The instructions stated no more than 5nm, but my 1/4" Blue-Point digital torque wrench was set at 4.8 and I didn't get anywhere near there. I think I may have stripped one, as it seemed to just spin at 3.2nm. On top of that, the screws on the bottom were just an annoyance one you got the main unit mounted to the swing arm. If I had to do it over, I'd mount it once I got it over the frame and not mounted. I ride in some rough conditions, and I'm guessing I will wear through the bottom from hitting rocks, well before the pad needs replacing. When it's time to be replaced, I'm going with another brand.

Does this come with mounting hardware?
Wesley W on Jun 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought this chain guide for my 2007 CRF450R and it came with all required nuts and bolts to mount directly onto the swing arm bracket. Fits perfectly and works like a charm!
Does this come with the insert also?
Travis M on Jan 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does come with the wear pad and block. I believe you can also purchase new wear pad once the original wears out. The wear pad fits in the bottom of the bock and there are set screws that you can access from the bottom of the block, to pull out the old one and put the new one in. You do not have to pull the entire block off to replace the wear pad, which is a nice feature.
Can you run a oversize rear sprocket?
A shopper on Oct 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I am. My bike (12 CRF450R) came with a 48T from the factory. I am currently running a 49T, but have run up to a 51T. This is the best chain guide I have ever used, and I've tried quite a few to include the T.M Designs.
Will this guide fit oversized or o-ring and x-ring chains?
Todd R on Apr 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: i only use a o ring chain on my 2006 RM 250 since 2008 when the original one wore out. and and this replaced it just fine
on a KX450 2009, will this work with a 52 tooth rear? The stock guide will NOT. Thank You.
James P on Apr 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not 100% sure. I ran a 51 tooth on my previously owned kx450. Might have to try lower guide block a little but only guessing.
