I have not had the battery very long, so it is not possible to give it a true rating.Read All Reviews

I bought two of these. One was for my DRZ and the other for my Daytona 675. Lead-acid batteries last reasonably well for me, since I ride a lot. But, I figured that for the price, the light weight and small size would be great. Any added longevity would be a bonus. They arrive mostly charged, so putting it in and firing up the DRZ was straight forward. The Daytona is a somewhat different beast. For whatever reason, the Shorai battery gets a bit flat quickly. The bike still starts, but it takes a number of attempts before the motor will spin enough to catch and fire. I have had no instances of the bike not starting, but it seems like it won't for a bit, and the battery acts like it's going flat. Once I ride the bike and put in some miles, there's no problem for a couple days. If I don't ride for more than a few days, this happens. No problems with the DRZ. So, on the one hand, these batteries are mostly reliable, but I'm not sure what will happen with the Daytona over time.Read All Reviews

I installed this small battery as part of a 24 Volt starting conversion on a 2008 KTM 300XC-W. It was small and light enough to simply zip tie around the stock battery box and it protrudes slightly into the airbox as seen in the photo. The stock starting systems on these bikes is terrible and prone to problems. Converting to 24-volt starting was a lot less expensive than buying a 2014+ Bendix, crown wheel and 420-watt starter.Read All Reviews
