Yes, a 12V lead acid/AGM charger can be used to charge lithium batteries, but be sure it doesn't have a "sulfate" mode as that is not compatible. When a lithium battery gets a little older it won't hold a full charge as the cells can get out of balance. A lead acid charger won't hold 14.5V long enough to let the BMS in the battery do it's thing. I ran this charger on my 5 year old KTM factory lithium battery for a few days and then let it rest for a few days. The battery's resting voltage went up from 13.0 to 13.25. This .25V doesn't sound like a big deal, but per the Skyrich battery voltage chart, 13.0 equates to about 30% state of charge and 13.25 is about 80 state of charge. This should help extend the service life of the battery. I had a Shorai lithium last for 12 years before it's cranking amps got low

So far, so good. Works perfectly fine in this cold weather. I don't getto ride that often in winter and this assures me when I do get to ride, it will start.
