It functions properly on my CRF150, after I got it installed. The wiring was a little bit shorter than the old, so I mounted it out of thumb's reach. Also, one of the two wires did not have proper connector, so I had to splice in the old connector. Little bit of troubles, but it works fine for what it is.

You could wire everything without this, and quality could be improved as well. I recommend looking into alternative wiring or switches. (I wired my tusk conversion kit without this, tapping headlights into on-off switch.
