Title is appropriate.
The wrench worked as expected. It would have been extremely difficult and time consuming to preload my springs without this tool.

Great Spanner Wrench
I love how this wrench bites the jam bolt at two points instead of just one like the old style one do. Made adjusting the shocks on my Can-Am Maverick X3 much easier

worked great for showa rear shock
Used this to rebuild my Showa rear shock. Worked great to remove and re-install the spring lock nuts.
Note: I used the tool with the shock off the bike.
Not sure if this tool would work to set the sag with the shock still installed on the bike.

Looks pretty solid
This wrench looks pretty solid, but it did't work for my needs. I bought it to adjust spring pre-load on a Teryx. The wrench fits pretty good, but the problem is it's a little too long and there's no room to turn the wrench. This is more of an issue with the machine design than it is with the wrench. Wrench might work just fine in a different situation.

Will this fit smaller shocks? Like pitbike size?
Matt J on Oct 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You'll note that it is adjustable. With some clever manipulation and strong grip it managed to fit my adjustable shock and only cost me one skinned knuckle. If it won't work, try building one for this price.

I have a 2013 Polaris Rzr 900 XP. Will this work for front and back shocks?
George F on Mar 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will work as long as you have full 'access' to the shock collar to turn it. Each machine has a different layout, so you need to make sure you have enough clearance to fit it around ant subframe or metal/aluminum frame/tubing.
