Been waiting for this to come back in stock. I finally got it only to discover it requires the Garmin Spine Mount Adapter. Nothing is mentioned that this is required. Not on this website. Not on the product packaging. Just casually mentioned in the instructions. Now I'm waiting even longer to use this. Really lame oversight all around...

Glad I had it!
Came in handy when I broke my leg and had to use the SOS button. Glad I had it. After the helicopter rider, the cost of this is nothing! Works great to send texts as well. Links to your phone so sending messages is easy. Must have!

Great way to communicate when in BFE!!
The InReach messenger works great! The app works well too, very clean and intuitive to use. The only thing I wish was different was that it had a phone number that didn't change. It's a slight inconvenience, I have to start the text threads before someone can respond. But other than that complaint the device, app, and service all work very well
