  Love it, Just the ticket for shorter riders. I'm 5'9" 163lb and can now flatfoot my KLR650. The bike is a beast when full of gas and luggage, this will be a great advantage. Taking it up to Mt Patterson on the Calif BDR Section 2.... Cant wait. Really changed my attitude about this bike, new to me so wasn't sure about the weight, ...buy this part if you're not a 6 footer. Super easy install.

  I trust my bike more now.

  After adding large TUSK boxes, a tail box, and me not being at my old Army weight anymore, this just makes sense. Im not worried about over packing anymore. Easy to install, and fits with SW-Motech crash bars. I did have to drill out the spacers that came with the crash bars because the bold was too big for the previous holes on them, and it needed spacers on both sides to fit properly, but that was a 2 minute job and easily corrected. Just another minor Mod for a KLR to make things fit. For me, this is just as important as the Doo.

  It's from Eagle Mike. Enough said. if you are drinking the KLR koolaid - this is a must! Forget about bending that washer thingy back after every time. This should be way more convenient.
