This Enduro Engineering Front Brake Disc Guard is a piece of protection that continues EE’s excellent reputation and delivers rock-solid, no frills protection for your crucial components.
With their Front Brake Disc Guard you’re getting exactly what you expect from Enduro Engineering, precision machined aluminum alloy, a gorgeous bare machined finish, and an overall construction so tough you can break rocks with it.
It mounts using your bike’s axle as the main support point and a caliper bolt so the guard stays in place. And the guard needs those strong mounting points because it lets the massive fin absorb impact and protect the bottom of your fork.
And like most things from Enduro Engineering, you won’t have to worry about it lasting through big hits, because it’s not going anywhere. You can even round the protection out with the Lower Fork Leg Guard.
Protects brake rotor and bottom of fork leg
Includes hole to adjust rebound clicker without removing guard
Strong, lightweight aluminum alloy construction
Precision CNC machined and TIG welded
Mounts using axle and brake carrier bolt (extended bolt included)
I bent my front brake rotor a couple weeks ago and decided on this guard to protect the new one. I really like it. It’s very light, looks great and the piece of mind is great.. have the matching rear rotor guard from Ee .. they make great stuff
This thing is really a piece of machining art. It's strong and has awesome welds. but I ended up returning it as it weight over 2lb's as was just a little much for what I needed. If you do boulders and really nasty stuff I think it would be worth it, but I just needed something that would keep stuff off the disc on an occasional rocky rut.
Bought this with a new galfer front rotor to replace my bent one. Fitment is perfect install was easy and it is holding up great very durable so far. Well worth the money for piece of mind of never bending a rotor again
This is about the easiest and fastest part to add to your motorcycle. 2 minute install. And this thing is solid. I'm not sure there's a boulder you can hit to damage this guard. And being aluminum, it looks sweet.
It’s expensive but offsets the cost for a new oversized rotor. Protects an oversized rotor well and allows it to breath and cool down by not covering it up but protecting the outside of the rotor from stumps, rocks, etc..
The only complaint I have is the price, other than that, this thing is essential if your riding rocky trails. Don't get caught without one. This will make the difference of you finishing your ride and making it home or not.
I have had it on the bike for about a year now. Still works as it should. It has a few nicks and gouges in it. I know that without it I would have had to replace at least one or two rotors. So you do the math!
Super cool product. Looks good and functions even better. My 2016 yz250x required this to keep her in good shape. The bolt that hold it to the caliper already took a good hit showing how much beating the front end a takes. This guard protects it all!! Recommend lower fork guard for other side as well
Great product, I run GP's and desert races with District 37 and have dinged up my front rotor numerous times. Since purchasing the disc guard no more hits to the disc brake, but u can see that the guard has taken some hits and is still in good shape. It's made of aluminum, its lightweight and strong.
Fits great. Will guard rotor and fork ends. Light enough to not even notice it's on. Should've got fork end guards before I bent my fork end. I had to break mine to get my fork apart. Lesson learned. Worth the money. Otherwise can break parts that cost way more than the guards.
I installed this after I noticed how much the rear disk guard had been beaten by rocks. Very beefy, but not too heavy. Unintentionally tested it on a slab of slickrock on Golden Spike Trail in Moab. Definitely protected the disk, but more importantly the end of the fork was saved from the rock grinder. Planning to but the matching right side end fork protector now!
Machine this part was bought for: 2014 KTM 350 EXC-
For the price, it's hard to beat unless you like replacing brake discs. If you ride in rocky conditions, this piece is nice to have. I bought this being proactive. Installation was easy and fit was perfect.
