Not as handy as the front puller, too exposed
The install on mine went poorly, the insert was squashed and didn't fit, requiring significant filing of the insert. Also, this design does not tuck in out of the way as the front one does. It is bulbous and exposed and could get damaged very easily in a tip-over in the rocks. Also doesn't look like it was designed for the rear axle in mind.

Makes it much easier to pull Axel bolts without hitting them with a hammer.

Great product! Until it fell out after first ride!
Worked great to pull axle when working on rear wheel at time I was installing it, but when it wasn't on the bike after the first ride I was pretty disappointed. It must has rattled loose during the ride (even though I had Loctite on threads and tightened sufficiently).

I generally like Enduro Engineering products, but I'll be avoiding this one in the future.

Rear axle pull
I really think an axle pull for the rear axle is not necessary. But I have one for the front and like it so much I bought one for the back. They are handy and don't really stick out as much as you would think, and they are quality.

Axle Puller
Its a good product. It works as it should. Its good if your heading out on the trail and to change a tire. Dont forget a flat head though. when you tighten this up it can very slightly expand your axle and you may need a flat head to open the axle clamp.

I took the rubber plug out but I didn't bang anything else out the rear axle on my 2006KTM 525 exc. I know I'm getting a front one sometime, but the rear, it depends on if the work is tricky or not. It looks like the is a bushing the rubber plug was in, does that have to be banged out for the product to work int he rear axle? In the video, it looks like it does. Thanks
Tom H on Jan 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: On your KTM, the plastic plug in the left side of the axle will need to be removed.
