Packed a blown out silencer core with this material to bring the exhaust noise back down. The fiberglass density is solid so it wraps tight around the perforated core without tearing apart in your hands. It absorbs sound effectively, tones down that harsh metallic snap, and helps restore crisp throttle response. As long as you pack it evenly without stuffing it too tight, it holds up to oil saturation and high heat for plenty of engine hours. Simple maintenance item that makes a huge difference in exhaust volume.

The first time I put the FMF Factory 4.1 RCT aluminum silencer with carbon end cap on my bike, it instantly changed the whole vibe. It doesnt even feel like a normal dirt bike anymore. The sound is perfect deep, sharp FMF tone that makes every throttle hit feel serious, not just loud for no reason. Fitment is super clean too, like it was made for the bike. Only thing is these carbureted 2010 KX250Fs run lean, so it needed jets but the pipe came with cash back, so it was basically a win. Now it runs cleaner, pulls better, and honestly just feels way more dialed every time I ride. For the older 2010 kx250f riders 42 pilot 188 main dialed!

Good quality. I wish the instructions were clearer, since it wasn't clear what to do with the extra ring

Used these to secure header wrap and hold heat shielding in place around the exhaust pipe. They bite down tight, lock into place, and do not stretch out or degrade from engine heat like standard nylon zip ties do. The stainless construction means they will not rust out or snap when exposed to mud, water, or severe roost. You just pull them tight with pliers, snip the excess end, and they stay right where you put them. Useful item to have around the shop for high temperature wiring and hose routing.

These exhausts run incredibly hot. The guard works great to protect anything that unintentionally bumps up against it.
