KTM Shock Spring Preload Adjuster
This is a great tool for changing your shock pre load.

I only gave it a 3/5 for value as you really do not need it if you are a home mechanic. At home you can just lift your rear subframe and turn it easily. If I raced and tried to dial in sag for each race, this tool would be a 5/5 for value.

Great tool
Allows for quick adjustments. No more hitting with a hammer to unlock collar.

Nice tool
I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but seems like it will do the job perfectly. I do wish it was slightly heavier-duty

Is this wrench suitable for the 2017 Ktm 300 xc? It is the wp leading link shock.
Daniel B on Nov 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Orks on my pds,. Will try it out on a 17 xc saturday if nobody answers
Will this work on a 2017 250 SX-F?
Dustin M on Apr 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe it will but my bike is a 15 250 SX-F. Here is what I would do to be sure. Call you local KTM dealer and ask them if the collar is the same on the 17 as it is on the 15. I sure it is. If it is you can buy this with confidence it will work. A little tip. Only use this to loosen the collar. Instead of using this to tighten. Just turn the whole shock instead of just the collar. Otherwise you will strip our your plastic collar by slipping off.
Will this fit the KTM 2016 Freeride 250 R?
SHANNON W on Aug 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I pulled up a picture of the 2016 Freeride 250 R shock. I am guessing that it will work. I would not bet my life on it however it is a WP for both bikes and it comes down to the spacing between the notches on the pre load adjusting ring. I would give it a shot. also keep the threads on the shock clean so the plastic adjuster will not seize :-)
Does this tool work for the 2017 KTM 300 XCW spring?
DANIEL R on Dec 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would cross reference the KTM part# for the wrench for the 2017, if the park number is different I would say no.
Will this fit 2016 KTM Duke 390?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I can’t say for sure because I don’t have a 390. If your bike has a WP rear shock most likely it will work for you. KTM uses the same parts on many of their models.
Will this fit my 2017 KTM 690 Enduro R, while the rear shock is still mounted to the cycle?
Bob G on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It does on my 250XC, but it is limited to small incremental adjustments. I just adjusted my sag last week with it.
