Was pleasantly surprise whenI received the tire gauge and it weighs almost a pound. I've only used it a handful of times so I don't know how long it's going to last but so far out of the box I am very pleased.
This tire pressure gauge has a rubber housing which will probably protect it from low drops. It's reads are true and the end swivels making it easy to take reads. Not something I take on my ride but I keep it at home in the garage and take it on trips to the desert and leave it int the trailer.
This is the best tire gauge I have ever used. The 90 degree head makes checking the pressure on minis and full size bikes a piece of cake. Adjusting pressure is a breeze with the push button air release. Just add a little extra air with your pump and adjust down with the gauge. The braided hose and metal head all seem well constructed and the rubber cover over the display housing seems sufficient to protect against bumps and drops.
I am very happy with the look of this gauge and have found it to be very accurate. My only complaint is that it releases air way too slowly. About 1 PSI every 3 seconds. It's really slow. You will want to let 3/4 of the air out (by guessing it) pushing the valve stem by hand and then put this gauge back on to get it right.
