    For my DRZ400S

I'd give it 4.5/5 but really, it's a pretty nice setup at a great price. I bought this kit for my DRZ400S and just recently put it to the test on a 5 day offroad camping trip. Here was my experience. Installation was fairly straight forward. The written instructions that come with the kit are almost useless so just watch the video tutorials on the rockymountainatv site instead and it will all become clear. My racks were not a drop in fit. I had to do a little bending and tweaking to get all the bolt holes to line up. Nothing major and I suppose there's a chance it could be something with my bike. Once installed, I was impressed with how solid they felt. They were also more low profile than I imagined they would be so I will not mind leaving them on the bike. The bags are nice. Again, watch the video tutorial on the installation to save yourself frustration. They are tough and quite adjustable. There are a ton a straps to fiddle with to get everything nice and cinched up. My only two gripes were 1) it's a bit of a pain if you just need to grab something "real quick" out of a bag. You have to undo and redo 4 buckles and straps to do that. An exterior zipper enclosed pocket would be a very convenient touch but honestly it really wasn't that big of a deal. 2) you have to be careful about how you reef on the mounting straps (which also snug the bag down). The claps the straps go through have pretty aggressive teeth on them and I actually started to tear one of the straps. They are not waterproof either so use the supplied liner or some other water proof means to keep stuff dry. Again, a great setup for the price

Great setup, fit well and are quite sturdy. Racks work great protecting the exhaust, lights and plastics on a drop as well.
