Haven't actually used it with the bike running but it was easy to route, lube and is soooo much smoother (even without lube) than my old cable, perfect length. Keep in mind if you have a 01-05 yz250f with the clutch thing on top of the case and the lever, put the cable in the lever first then put it in the case side otherwise I couldn't get it in
