2024 KLR 650 Tall Windscreen is a solid option if y...

2024 KLR 650 Adventure, I bought the tallest option late 2025, I have about 1,000 miles with it so far, mostly gravel roads and pavement so far. The shield does a very good job of blocking the wind. The bubble of still air is wider and taller. I ride with an ADV helmet and with this screen the air catches my visor way less if at all. If your planning to ride at highway speeds for an extended period this screen is almost Goldwing good :) I have not rode in technical dirt sections yet with this screen, I have plans for 2026, but I will say its tall and could be a problem if you're standing a lot riding aggressively. The screen sits noticeably further forward with a more forward rake or steeper rake, if that makes sense, giving about 2" more space between the GPS bar and the screen in the low setting. I am 6' tall with a 33" inseam and I do have it in the low setting so I can see over the screen while riding. This works well if I keep my back straight. If I slouch, long day on the bike, then the top of the screen does start to get in my field of vision too much. I will probably order up and try the medium height option as well. I prefer to look over the screen. I also ride more technical terrain at times (I almost never turn back). I do recommend this screen if your looking for really good wind protection. It is solid and does not flutter, shake or vibrate.

    Feels sturdy and looks great

Might be jumping the gun but mounted it last night. It is LOADS better than the previous universal wind screen I had. The accessory/mounting bar is awesome and matches the outline/aesthetic of the CRF300L. For off road use the wind screen portion is easily removable and the bar seems sturdy enough to pull from or hold as support if absolutely needed. The accessory bar let me move my GPS and phone mount from the handlebars. Much easier to look at without taking my eyes off the road. Installation was a huge pain (for me) since I had a lot of junk on my handlebars that needed moved. I ended up having to remove the GPS mount, phone mount, hand guards, and clutch to properly install. The left side is tight where the clutch is, but if you insert the bar into the mounting bracket and tighten prior to putting the left mounting bracket onto the handlebar mount, it made it much easier to just slide the right side on and not have to worry about getting an allen key in the tight space. Overall the thing fits flawlessly.

Great Value - Fits My WR250R Well

For a universal windscreen, it fits really well on my WR with aftermarket bars. Definitely took some fiddling to get it right, but there's a multitude of mounting options. Overall, this windscreen is a really great value for the money.

    Tall windshield for KLR 650

Quality windscreen! Installation was very easy. I'm 5'4 and live in the mountains so I wanted a bit more wind chill protection than the stock shield provided. This windshield did the job. If I was to be super picky I might want it to be an inch higher, and it would still work ok for offroad use. The only issue I came across is that when you turn the bars to the left the mirror arm just hits the shield. Probably could adjust the bars, but it is not that big of a deal.

    2024 Husky 701 windshield

This Husqvarna windshield is just right for my type of riding. I usually ride about 20-30% highway speed the rest gravel or off road. It's not been it the way off-road. If I was doing more highway I would want something taller.
