I got this for my 17 500 excf that had an old battery. It was not starting in cold temps . The new 8 cell starts the bike in 30 degree cold. No more jumping or bump starting when cold.

Great battery, but if you should ever need to recharge it you will need a charger that works for lithium ion batteries...a conventional charger won't work.
