  Yamabond 4 seems to handle the heat a lot better than permatex and others I have used. I use it where the stator harness goes thru the stator housing. No leaks!

  I've been running Yamalube 2-R in my two-strokes for a while now and it's always been solid. It mixes easily with pump gas, provides great film strength to protect the top end under load, and burns fairly clean so power valves don't get caked up as fast. You still get that typical two-stroke smoke on startup, but once up to temp, it runs crisp and does its job protecting the cylinder and crank.
