Good chain
The fitment was just fine. Only had a few rides but very minimal stretch. No adjustment has been necessary. Time will tell on the durability aspect but so far I am pleased with this chain.

Good backup
Good quality chain at an affordable price. Bought this one as a backup to keep in my trailer. And I have one on each of my bikes trx450r and a ltr450 currently and they run good.

Great chain for the money
I ride and race hare scrambles and this chain has held up great. I clean it and oil it after every ride it it has not stretched at all. I run a 350 and have no worries about my chain and sprocket set up.

Fits great
I adjusted the chain as the manual says and it has not stretched at all. I'm not sure how long this chain will last as I've only owned it for a month but I've already put 700 miles on it.

Too Wide for a 2019 CRF 450L
Chain is too wide for the CRF 450L.

stock 2019 450L chain is an O-Ring Chain and is thin, this ORH chain is too wide and hits the case.

Decent chain at an attractive price.
I use PD chains & sprockets exclusively as 90% of my riding is sand dunes. This will kill any chain so this is a much more cost effective option that the higher priced drive chains.

Wish they made a half link for extra paddle tire clearance.

98 banshee
Ordered this for my 98 banshee. It has an after market swingarm, stock length. Had to take all adjustment out of rearend and take the chain roller off for chain to fit. And its still tight. Hoping it streches a little?

Chain
I had to purchase another chain when I cut the one to short for my bike. Rocky Mountain shipped it to me in a few days and I had no problems installing. Chain seems very durable

Is a chain breaking tool required to install this new chain?
A shopper on May 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No not if you order the chain for a stock machine with stock sprocket sizes. If you went to different sprocket sizes or have extended swing arm than u may need to get a longer chain and trim it to fit. In that case which rwill require a chain breaking tool a cutoff saw or grinder.
Is a counter shaft spacer needed for an 03 cr250?
Gerald W on Apr 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: To answer your question you would have to know if your bike came fractory stock with an O ring chain. I've seen some cases that it will need a spacer. If your bike came with an O ring chain there will be no problem.
I'll buy another one it's a good chain!
I hope this helps.
Can I order longer than a 114 link? Need more clearance for larger sprocket and ice studs. 2014 YZ 250
JOHN B on Nov 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but you will need to remove you Dirt Bike profile from the page otherwise it will only show stock sizes. After that you can choose however many links you want.
How much does the chain weigh?
Lee P on Jan 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 520x100 weighs 4.45 pounds in the box.
How wide is this chained measured at the pins?
Asher S on Apr 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 20mm
What size of chain do I need for a 2019 crf450f with a 13 tooth front sprocket and a 52 tooth rear sprocket?
Wyatt T on Mar 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You will be required to purchase a 520x118 chain.
Does it work for a 52 tooth rear sprocket on a crf450r from the usual 50 tooth rear?
josh k on Jun 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If you are adding 2 teeth to the rear sprocket, you will need to add two links to the chain from the factory specs.
I got this chain for ktm 300 xcw it is to wide and rubs case .is there fix for that ? It as almost 2mm wider than stock o ring chain .
Kenneth F on Jun 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. after doing some looking into this, i would inspect whats called the SPACER SLEEVE DRIVE END(the collar behind the front sprocket), the oil seal and the end of the counter shaft to verify that it is all in spec and not warn out. the X-rings chains will be just a little wider then standard chains, however this chain should work for your machine.
Do the crf450s need a countershaft spacer for this chain?
Jeff on Sep 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the CRF450 requires a countershaft spacer for O-Ring and X-Ring chains.
