Worth the money! Awesome sprocket
Great product. Was a bit hesitant but figured it would be worth a shot since any aluminum sprocket will wear out eventually. Worth the money tho! So far it’s held up fantastic and will be buying more!

Nice Sprocket
Much cheaper option than my dealer wanted. Durability is so so and seems to be wearing pretty fast. Having said that, the riding here is in the worst conditions so rapid wear is expected. Might have to try a steel/alum two piece next time. Fit was perfect.

The teeth wear well without taking a bite out of your wallet.
Only 600 miles but it’s exceeded my expectations.
My new chain didn’t need adjustment and the blue looks great on my Husqvarna. OEM sprocket bolts fit perfectly and stayed tight.

what size of chain does it take?
Tim D on Apr 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The size chain will depend on your machine and sprocket sizes. If you could tell me the make, model, and year of your machine along with your front and rear sprocket sizes I can tell you what size chain you will need.
My stock gearing is 13/50 if I got a 49 tooth sprocket would it help my pull more out of my gears ? And second would I have to do anything to my chain or could I keep it the same just maybe have it adjusted tighter on the blocks?
Dyllon B on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: A smaller rear/larger front sprocket will give you more top end speed, if your engine has the power for it. Conversely, using a larger rear/smaller front sprocket would give you more acceleration at the expense of top end.
As for your chain, for a single tooth on the rear, you can probably get it tight enough with the adjusters. However, if you have significant time on it, you should replace it along with your new rear sprocket and a new front sprocket. A used chain will have stretched to the point the rollers will not fit the new sprocket teeth properly. You will wear out your new sprocket very quickly.
Why is Red not available for the Betas???
Kelly C on May 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, this color is not available for us to get for your machine. However, I will forward along your comment for consideration.
This says it fits a wr250r but the new sprocket has recessed bolt holes the stock sprocket has flat bolts. Do i need new bolts?
Scott F on Apr 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It should have recessed bolt holes since they center the bot/sprocket I’m not sure what setup is currently on your wr but get a set of tusk or motion pro sprocket bolts and you will be good
I have a 2013 KTM 350exc. Have 13/48 on now with stock chain. Chain good. Want 50 on rear for more pull. Will stock size work? OEM is 14/45. Thanks.
Donovan M on Jul 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend a new chain with more links. For this gearing, it is recommended to add 4 links to the stock size. What I would do personally is buy a chain longer that is 4+ links longer than stock and then cut it to the length you would like.
If I'm going from a stock14" rear wheel to a 16" rear wheel do I need to change my rear sprocket to accommodate the larger wheel size?
A shopper on Apr 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: depends on if the type of bike and if the bike has the horsepower to handle it. If it doesn't have the horsepower then I recommend going up in teeth to accommodate the larger wheel. the larger sprocket will help compensate for the larger wheel.
Is the #102-228-0161 sprocket a 420 chain size or 428 ?
Michael W on Feb 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello,
The sprocket is a 520 chain size.
I have a 2019 ktm excf 450 six days. It has a 45 tooth rear sprocket. If I change to 48 will I need a new chain? What about 50?
jacob d on Jul 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Better to go one tooth smaller on the counter shaft sprocket. Gives about the same gear reduction and is easy to change. No chain length worries either.
I have a 09 yfz 450r what would it do if I went with a 36 tooth in the rear and stock font?
Tyler H on Mar 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not sure what you are trying to do here ?Stock rear is a 49 ! Thirteen teeth smaller is huge , put your YZ in third or fourth gear and start from a dead stop , that is how first gear would feel with a 36 rear . Even with your 450 power you could not pull top gear !
Anybody else have trouble with this sprocket fitting a Cobra CX50-Sr? I purchased the sprocket under OEM and the bolt holes are metric and I had to tap them to fit..
A shopper on Sep 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have not used my Primary Drive sprockets on a Cobra, I have had a few sets for my KTMs over the years & my friends too ,and we had absolutely no fitment issues on front or rear sprockets. I am also using stock KTM bolts also.Make sure (if the bike was bought used) that the bolts are OEM certified & tapered correctly & you have no oblong holes on wheel hub from loose or worn/incorrect fasteners.
