as advertised !
It's always nice when you order something and it goes as planned.
Easy install, don't have to remove tire or chain. Just bolts on !
Bounced it off a log, while on a KX450. Same log that made me purchase a new one in the first place.
Not a scratch on it, impressive quality !

Good Replacement.
Purchased this for my 1990 Honda CR125 That I restored. Was missing the original, so this was a great replacement. Would recommend.

Good guide, good price, not all plastic
For some reason I thought this was an all plastic part. It's not, it's metal. More durable than the stock KX250f guide, which bent very easily under just normal riding. The PD part is holding up very well. I used loctite on the bolts. For an inexpensive chain guide, this is a good option.

Ehh don’t buy.
Does the job but wears fast. Probably about the same as stock. Much more noise and the aluminum frame contacts chain occasionally and starts to show wear even after tightening chain. I removed and bought a tm designworks guide, it’s much more expensive but also much better.

Well made and easy to use
I got this chain guide because my stock one needed to be replaced. It fits nicely and you can replace the plastic that the chain will eventually wear out. Looks really nice on the bike as well.

Is this a two piece (i.e. Will I have to remove my chain to install?)i
William P on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi William. You do not have to remove your chain. It's very easy to put on and has lasted well for me so far. I'm very please with it and would buy it again for the cost.
Does this chain guide come with the mounting hardware?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: For me it came with everything I needed except the third (rear) mounting bolt. I didn't have any hardware at wall because when my original guide was broken off the hardware was lost.
does it fit ok with a 48 tooth sprocket?
cole m on Mar 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes...it fits well...we even ran a 50 tooth. It's a well made product. My son races and practices everyday...holds up well.
will it fit a 53 tooth sprocket?
John T on Sep 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I no longer have the bike I installed this on but the unit is SOLID. I would expect it to fit any reasonable size rear sprocket that the bike itself can fit/is designed for. Worst case scenario you have to grind off a bit of the plastic wear guide or you keep your chain a bit longer so you axle is more rearward.
Installed on an 1987 XR600R and the chain rubs on the inner metal frame. Will either have to add washers to push the entire guide over so chain doesn't rub or replace altogether. Overall will not purchase again. Waste, could of purchased OEM slider plastic for half as much money. Am I installing incorrectly?
KYLE C on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They send you everything to install it correctly. I have bought this chain guide several times and mine rubs a little as well. I’m guessing from the chain slap. But overall it works as it should for the price. They also sell replacement rub blocks for the guide.
Does this part come with bolts?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will come with everything you need to mount it to your machine.
Your bike search doesn’t include the KLX300. I need a chain guide for an 02 model?
Curtis L on Mar 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, this chain guide will not fit your machine. However, part number 1006750019 will fit your machine.
