    Smooth
replaced a worn (not broken) perch and lever with this, lubed the clutch cable and wow what a difference. Feels like a totally different machine. A nice feature is the poly sleeve where it clamps to handlebar; allows a snug mount that will rotate instead of break when bike hits ground. Good value,

    Pivot bearing is not sealed
I bought this clutch perch assembly because it is advertised as having a sealed pivot bearing, it does not. It has a loose bronze bearing that allows the lever to move up and down significantly, even when the bolt is tightened properly.
Additionally, two Phillips screws need to be removed from the "rubber boot" to install the cable or for servicing the non-sealed bearing. I suspect they will become loose and fall out.
The perch is cheap and feels that way too.
I wouldn't buy again or recommend this perch.

    Great lever
This is a very nice lever and perch. You absolutely CANNOT beat the price. My 400ex had a relatively difficult clutch pull, and this lever actually made it easier. However, this is a pretty long lever, so if you are looking for a short lever this isn’t for you. The quick adjust took a second to figure out how to install but is an awesome feature, easy to use. To spice up the look a little, I took a red paint marker and did the “pro taper” lettering on the dust cover, which looks sweet.

    Good but not great
Biggest complaint is that the lever is VERY long, when most guys I know prefer 3/4 length or shorter. The bearing pivot is pretty good but not so great that you really notice it. BEST feature is the quick adjust on the fly knob that is easy to use and indexes beautifully!

    It works.
Seems cheaply built. It works but won't buy again. Better off spending the extra $ and getting a higher end model

Will this lever work on a 2006 Honda CRF80F?
    JASON R on Oct 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure about a 06 crf80, but I can inform anyone else looking to buy this for a 2018 rmz450 it does not work. The star adjuster is too short compared to stock and will not give enough adjustment. Even tried maxing out all the adjusters on the cable and still no luck. 18 rmz450 with 12 hours so cable is in good condition. Hope this helps someone.
The description says bearing in lever pivot point, a reviewer is saying it does NOT have bearing... Which is it, bearing or not?
    michael a on Jan 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I do not believe it has a bearing that I’m aware of but I highly recommend this setup. We’ve had it on our bike for a few months now and works flawlessly and has survived a few rolls as well
Will this fit the rental fatbars?
    A shopper on Aug 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have mine on a set of Pro Taper Evo crossbarless handle bars on my vintage Husky
Will this fit a 1996 Suzuki rm250 with protaper handle bars?
    Nick C on Jun 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would say YES. The clutch perch matches a standard bar, which even the fat Pro-Tapers become at the control ends. And the older RM's use a normal ordinary clutch cable which slots/drops into this clutch. Should be good to go.
    Will this fit 2013 kx450f?
    Frank M on May 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Mine fit the ordinary clutch wire cable with cylinder shaped bump on the end. It's not a hydraulic clutch. Just for typical clutch cable that hasn't changed since 1970.
Does it come with the clutch lever?
    Daniel B on Jun 24, 2018
    BEST ANSWER: Yes it does.
