Definitely makes it easier to get the seal pushed down far enough to get the snap ring in place.

tool worked perfectly. you might be able to do the job without the tool, but it makes it safer and keeps you from damaging the boor of the shock.

Does what it needs to do exceptionally well...
Only purchased because of the how to video... But it works as intended and saves you time form bootlegging something lol

Not essential but makes life way easier
Great tool that I didn't realized I needed until I had it. Made my life much easier when working on the suspension.

Does what it needs to, overpriced imo
Decided to be good for once and buy the correct tools for a shock rebuild. Seal head setting tool did exactly what its designed to do but can easily put something together in the shop that will accomplish what you need from this tool

I just rebuilt my shock for the first time and this tool made it a breeze going back together. I could've got it back together without it, but I'm glad I had it
