  • Are you looking for aluminum vise jaws that are gentle with those precious fork legs you are working on? Then Race Tech's Vise Jaws are what you need.
  • Holds fork tubes, fork legs and other round objects in a "V" down to a diameter of ½" (12.5 mm). The "V" is offset and overhangs the edge of the standard vise jaw to provide clearance on the post. Pre-drilled for the pins supplied with Race Tech's shaft holding tools TFSH Series.
  • Made to fit 4 to 6.5" Craftsman vises with removable jaws. These vises have a bolt spacing of either 2.5 or 3 inches. Note: the jaws can be drilled to fit other makes of vises.

A must for suspension rebuilders
Was skeptical at first due to price. Then I tried a set and now I have a set on each vise. Tremendous time saver and no damage to suspension components. Works excellent with the race tech shaft holding tools also. Wonderful item!

Use them now permantely
Yes, not exactly for all uses, but I like that these are durable, and I can use them for many applications, even just to hold bolts etc, and they hold tight.

A must if you do fork seals
I have a large Harbor Freight vise and the extra screws provided didn't fit so i had to buy some longer screws. But once assembled, they're worth their weight in gold if you do forks often. I've done about 20 sets in the last 2 years in the Race Tech vise jaws and I've never had any forks scratched and i never use a rag in the vise. I definitely recommend them if you're ever going to do more than a couple sets of forks.

<br>an update from before. I've literally done hundreds of forks seals to date and I still love these vise jaws. The V holds shock shafts too. I use the right side for everything else in my shop. Every vise should come with these jaws.

Didn't fit my vice
Holes wouldn't line up on my Home Depot Bench vice. I had to drill and tap some new ones in the vice. Once mounted, seems to work just fine. I've done a couple fork services in them with no complaints. Seems a little expensive for a simple tool.
