my sprocket has 2 holes on it where the bolts go through. why doesn't this one have them?
colton t on Mar 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This picture is generic and doesn't necessarily represent the actual product you will receive. If your machine is listed in the drop down menu, it will fit.
What tooth number is good for the woods? I have 53 on rear and 13 on front what would be better for torque?
Jaaziniah D on May 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My TE300 came geared 13-50. I re geared to 13-48. I believe in the Ohio woods I ride it lets you pull more distance between shift... 2 and 3 in tight stuff. I very rarely ever use 1st gear. Hope this helps.
I need a new front sprocket on my yamaha 350 atv it has a 13 t. it seems like I top end to soon like I am missing a last gear should I put a 14 t on. Would I Feel the difference?
A shopper on Sep 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Adding a tooth to the front will give you more top end, but you will sacrifice torque, and your engine will work harder
if you go bigger rear sprocket do you have to change anything?
morgan g on Mar 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Here is a video on gearing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp3GXfiGGj0
New bike 16 crf 450 going to ride tracks in Florida looking to replace stock chain and sprockets What would be a good set up probably looking for more torque than top end More of a beginner rider with a some experience just not in the last few years can you help me between the best chain and sprocket’s please set up?
Richard K on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For more Tork than top end use a smaller front sprocket and a bigger rear sprocket this will give bike a lower gear ratio and be a more ideal set up for tracks and single tracks vs. long desert style races. It’s usually rider preference on how much torque they want but if you go down just a few in front and a few more in the rear it will probly give you what you are looking for. I believe there are torque charts on the web to get exactly what you are looking for. I Have a Ktm 450 xcf and I made a few changes and it made a big difference.
is this steel?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Rear sprockets are made from 7075 T-6 aluminum .
Front sprockets are made from case hardened nickel chromoly steel .
Will this fit my 2015 wr250r Yamaha? I am trying to take Rocky mountains advice about converting to 14/49 gearing. Thanks
Brian F on Jul 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: To see if this part will fit your machine please enter the make, model, and year into our "Choose a vehicle" drop down boxes found above the product image. If your machine is not listed, we may not carry the right item for your application. Thinking of going from a 14/40 setup to a 13/42 on a 2019 CRF250L. Will a 520 chain work? Any other issues?
Michael H on May 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: A 520 chain should work fine, as always, you should replace chain and sprockets as a set. The Primary Drive chain is an excellent choice.
I have a 2002 bombardier ds90 2 stroke. It currently has a 19-428 front sprocket. Can you get a smaller front sprocket for this atv?
Garrett M on Nov 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This part number does not pull anything up. How many teeth does your front sprocket have?
Why use one of these instead of a Primary Drive brand?
