I just installed my rotor guard on my brand new 2025 yz125x and am really happy with it. It's much thicker than Oem and came with the proper counter sunk hardware to match! I would point out you likely will have to remove the rear wheel for installation due to the fact it used allen bolts and the one fastener is on the inside, making it more difficult to reach with most allen wrenches. That being said it was a very simple install that only took minutes.

Well made easy installation without breaking chain. Doesn't bend like OEM and is wide enough for o ring chain

I really like this setup so far. The lower profile of the "sx" version didn't get banged up as bad as the stock lower chain guide did. It does have slightly more "noise" but you can actually feel the chain slide over the guide with little to no resistance. The rear / lower guide does have a replaceable pad which makes it way easier to put it on, no splitting the chain. Upper guide takes some finesse. Removing the front sprocket makes it way easier. Overall very pleased.

I'm a big fan of TM Designworks, I have a bunch of their plastic on my bike. This chain slider is awesome, the plastic is very durable but also very slippery, exactly what you want. Installation is easy and it lasts quite a long time.

A must have if you're installing the TM Designs chain slider. It's made of hard but slippery plastic, fits perfectly and works great.
