Good Springs but too weak
they look like they are made very well but the one problem was that they were super light springs. had to pick up a different set of stronger ones

Replaced the stock clutch plates with this Tusk clutch with springs. All steel plates. The stock set had 4 aluminum and 2 steel plates. The aluminum plates had worn beyond the min Tolerance and I was seeing a lot of gray in the oil only after 50 miles of trail riding. the new plates are all steel for longer life. They work and fit perfectly. The heavy springs are are no different than the stock springs. Lever pull is the same and a bench test of the new springs were about the same as the old stock springs. Very Nice

Can't beat em for the price
Great product and even though my previous springs were in spec. I like knowing I have new springs with a little extra "spring" to them versus stock. Some might ask why change em out...I ask, why not...

Works as it should
They are replacement springs for a worn out clutch. We will see how they hold up to my clutch abuse. So far so good.

Works great
Used as part of a clutch upgrade on my 2003 LTZ 400. No issue with the install. It did give the clutch a little heavier feel, but not bad at all.

Will this make the clutch lever noticeably harder/stiffer to pull?
Leo B on Aug 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I replaced my KTM 200 clutch with the Tusk all steel plates and the heavy springs. Did not notice any difference in lever pull. In fact I performed a crude spring compression bench test of both spring. Using a spring clamp, both springs compress very close to the same amount. The heavy springs actually compress a bit more that the stock springs.
What is the benefit to stiffer springs?
michael a on Jan 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: it gives you a more progressive feel. also the clutch doesn't slip as much when engaging so the clutch will last longer. coming out of a corner where you were on the clutch and hit the gas it wont slip as much.
What is the length of the springs for 2013 Honda CRF250R?
Peter D on Nov 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This will be the same length as the OEM springs.
