You shouldnt have any issues running a 2.0 on your machine.
James E.Considering this cap is new, make sure you get it tight. Completely seated. I removed my old one a time or two just to double check coolant level and it was a breeze to install compared to this new one. If it's not completely seated, it can't seal off the radiator and can leak.

Florencia BI noticed mine read about 65° when I installed it in the bike in the garage last night and I assumed it's probably registering the ambient temp of my surroundings. 65° in the garage = 65° degrees in the garage. Did you install yours on a hot day?
Curtis SIt's very common to get a higher pressure rating on radiator caps to increase the pressure release. I haven't run into a bike where the extra pressure has ever been a problem. If you overheat your bike (coolant vapor/white smoke pouring out of overflow tube) this will help contain it better. I've gone from 1.1 stock to 1.8 so a 0.2 increase is well within reason.
Randall ZThis cap is only designed to work with off-road applications.
Tusk O.I had a 06 crf450x with that temperature cap with no issues. Nice to see the temp that the bike is at. Great products.
Stephen DWe don't have an option for the EXC-F specifically so we cannot guarantee fitment.
Kael BMan I had the same issue. It works great on my 2012 Ktm 300 XC. Put it on my 2016 Husky FE350 and started spilling coolant just like you described. Moved it back to the KTM and it works fine. Put the OEM cap back on the Husky and have no issues. So I’m at a loss on why it works on some radiators. Even though they are practically the same radiators on the two bikes.
George VHey Chase,
I've got an orange label ride & not sure what the specs on the Honda's allow, but I do run the 1.8 TUSK and I've enjoyed knowing when I'm beginning to overheat it in the slow and tough stuff...and recommend it.
