Great tool, well made but the handle is a touch on the short side. The fact it comes with the extra insert for the bottom of the fork legs is awesome though.

    Works well
The fork cap wrench set is of high quality, it made rebuilding the forks a breeze. It would be five stars if it had the 1/2" square drive cut out for the torque wrench.

I have air bleeders buttons on my fork caps. To use the fork cap tool I'll need remove them when I tighten down the cap to the damper assembly. My question is will I have a problem with oil trying to come out the air bleed or air getting in when I have them out reassembling the damper together. Or do I need to buy oem air bleed screws? Thanks
    Christopher K on Feb 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Air can go in and out of the tubes with the bleeders off, but that won't affect anything negatively as long as you take all weight off the fork. I assume you've done this already since you're taking it apart. Your forks may leak some oil if you tip them upside down and don't re install the bleeders (finger tight would work) but it won't damage anything.
Just curious if anyone else has scratched their damping rods with this tool? I noticed many of the online suspension videos use a separate, plastic tool which I assume would avoid this problem. Hopefully, in my case the marring is low enough on the rod to not be an issue.

BEST ANSWER: I've used this tool several times to service my forks and have not had an issue scratching.
