Tusk Mohawk Extreme Duty High Clearance UTV A-Arms
The Tusk Mohawk Extreme Duty High Clearance A-Arms provide exceptional strength and increased ground clearance for your UTV. Through extreme trail and race environment testing, we addressed the weak points and limitations of the OEM A-Arms. Larger/thicker materials used throughout and key areas gusseted to combat flexing or bending.
All 2014-2016 models will need to purchase the newer OEM style bushing hardware. Introduced in 2017, the improved bushing design offers less resistance than the older polyurethane components and increased durability/longevity. It also incorporates an O-ring design that helps keep grease in, and contaminants out. Due to this change, greasable zerk fittings are no longer necessary.
1.25" x .120 wall tubing / 25% larger and 20% thicker than OEM A-Arms.
Gussets welded in key areas for additional strength and rigidity.
Additional 1.5" lower A-arm ground clearance.
Ball-joint areas built from thicker, precision milled steel. OEM A-Arms are made from thinner, cast material prone to bending in extreme conditions.
Uses the updated (2017 and newer) OEM style bushing hardware for maximum durability and improved wear characteristics.
High clearance is what I was looking for not over built suspension, these are the ticket. You do not need upper and lower arms to get the needed height, these are much more substantial than stock and should perform well. They rear radius arms would have been a nice match but they were and are still unavailable. Great value for the product!
Impressed right out of the box due to the thickness of them an the reinforcement where stock ones break or bend, easy to install an the performance of these are outstanding. Stock ones were rough an extremely weak. These are thick strong an ready to take the beat you out to then
great product, easy install,i called about the wall thickness of the tubing, and i got a answer, no one on the other a arms would provide that info. I like the way they look over the other ones out there also.
These A arms are easy to install. Took me a little over an hour to install them. I installed all new bushings myself. If you do not have any way to install the bushings, I would consider buying them with bushings already installed. They look great and give quite a bit of additional clearance for the front end. I haven't hit anything hard enough with them yet to truly test the durability. I hope I don't, but they have handled everything so far. They do not change the steering toe or caster as far as I can tell. The measurements where the same before and after. So far I am extremely pleased with them.
