Should have started using this years ago!!!!!~
Cleaned filters all kinds of different ways for years. Now maintain a family full of bikes and cleaning 5 filters every weekend. The Twin Air system saves me hours of work. Should have been using this years ago.

    Works great
Works great. Though I have to admit I feel a bit duped spending over 30 bucks for a gallon of simple green concentrate. But hey at least I know.

    last a full year
this stuff is great, with four dirt bikes in the garage with foam air filters, the large container last a full year. love the twin air solvent tub as well, no loss / waste of cleaner. after a year strained out all the sediment in tub bottom and added another gallon

what chemical are in the filter cleaner?
    A shopper on Aug 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Solvents that are proprietary to the company that’s why it’s important to use twin air filter cleaner and oil for a twin air air filter. This way you won’t have problems with the glue separating from the foam filter.
How much does the twin air cleaner foam up while working a filter in the cleaning tub? I'm using the motorex bio cleaner now. It works well but it's instantly a frothy mess so I'm thinking of changing to the twin air cleaner and oil.
    Eric L on Aug 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Doesn't foam up at all and doesn't stink near as bad as others I've used. I've been using Maxima filter oil and it cleans it great. Also have the Twin Air Cleaning tub, which is nice to keep the cleaner sealed up and ready to use and the dirt sinks to the bottom so much more efficient. One liter is about the minimum for the bucket, but it works. Probably going to add another liter so filter submerges better. Think I'm going to try the Twin Air filter oil when my Maxima runs out.
How long do I have to wait after cleaning to apply air filter oil?
    Cory B on Jul 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Cory, You'll generally wash your filter with dish soap to clean off all remaining oil and cleaning residue, then allow to air-dry. If you are in a hurry, you can wrap the filter in paper towels and squeeze or step on it to help remove any remaining water (squeeze or compress, but don't wring/twist). Let the filter air-dry, then re-sell your filter oil - filter oil needs to rest after application to allow the solvent to evaporate before starting your bike.
    Have fun/ride safe!
