Great foam filter oil. Really love the spray pattern on this can compared to others I’ve used, it’s more of a fan spray pattern. Allows for great coverage without using more than you have to VS a stream spray nozzle (blue can product lol). My only gripe with the UNI filter oil, is I wish I it came in bigger cans!
This stuff is thick and tacky. It washes off pretty good with hot soapy water. Other oils I have used are too thin and run off or let the fine dirt through. Some of the dust I ride in is like baby powder. That fine dirt will kill your valves. The inside of my intake boot is always clean with no trace of dirt. Properly oil your filter with this product and you will not have any dirt issues. Oiling your filter is easier that replacing the top end.
I have been using this oil for a long time and I prefer it because I like to wash my air filters with warm water and dish soap. Some other brands of oil require solvents to remove them from the filter.
Oil is too thin.Wrung out filter real good after applying oil.Still settled to bottom of filter and left puddle in air box.Just ordered Belray oil from RM.Should work better than Uni oil from what I have read.Should have got Belray to begin with...oh well live and learn!
I can always trust Uni to take care of my engine. Great stuff very sticky when dry (as it should be) and the stuff comes off your hands fairly well with soap, so it makes for easy clean up after you get done. PERFECT combo with Uni foam airfilter.
WHILE THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF FOAM FILTER PRODUCTS OUT THERE, I WOULD LIKE TO BELEIVE THAT A COMPANY LIKE UNI WHO HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR SO MANY YEARS KNOWS WHAT PRODUCT/FORMULA OF OIL WORKS BEST WITH THERE PRODUCT. THEY HAVE DONE EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON THERE FILTERS TO GIVE US THE BEST ANSWERS.
Not worth the mess to wash and re-oil your filter. This stuff continues to drain from the filter for weeks and makes the airbox a disgusting mess no matter how hard you squeeze out the filter. Just buy a preoiled filter and throw it away when it"s dirty.
