  I bought this as a spare and as yet have had no need to use it. I always carry a spare belt because nothing can ruin a ride quicker that is so easy to carry and quick to replace. I always use the factory belt for a couple of reasons. They have been engineered to work on my machine, I have never had any issues with factory belts that were not directly a result of something I've done, i.e. prolonged rock crawling without a gear reduction which overheated the belt due to slippage and inadequate cooling. I know a number of race teams who run full throttle for prolonged time periods, albeit with additional cooling, without belt failures on factory belts.

  Great belt

  This belt was a night and day difference from my stock oem belt from brp. The brp belt only had around 100 miles on it when I switched it to being a spare and got this belt on a recommendation. Its worked so well these last 600 miles I got a new one just so I dont have to go back to the oem when I need to use my spare. This belt feels smooth when taking off and grips great under wot.
