    Works Perfectly!
I love that it is clear because you can see the gas flow through it. It works perfectly and does a great job filtering the fuel.

    Does what it's supposed to
Great filters. I've put them on many bikes and never had problems with restricted fuel flow. It's also nice having a clear spot in your fuel line to see gas flowing through in order to tell if your carburetor bowl is full or not.

    Great filters
I've used these filters for decades, they make a right angle one as well that I use also. It's cheap and effective insurance against any particle that gets past the internal gas tank filter on your bike. I cut them into the fuel line between the petcock and carb and use small zip ties to make the connection.

Easy to clean, lasts for years
These units are very effective, fairly durable and easily cleaned using a backwashing technique. Good to see what kind of gribblies end up in your fuel, moreso on pitbikes and smaller rides that get filled by the kiddos.

    Peace of mind
I know that my fuel tank has a small screen built into the petcock, but a second filter helps me sleep at night.

What's really the difference between a regular and large size fuel filter? Will either one change performance of the bike? Does jetting have to be done after this is installed?
    SAMANTHA B on Nov 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Different size filters may mean different flow rates. The visu-filter is designed for a gravity fed, carbureted, motorcycle, ATV, etc. The only way this filter would change the performance of the bike is if caused the bike to starve for fuel by being too small for the fuel needs of the engine, or if it became clogged. Jetting is not needed for use of this filter. The purpose of the filter is to trap any dust, dirt, rust, debris etc. that may be in your fuel. The filter blocks said debris from getting into the carb and plugging it up. - Not having the filter may cause performance problems. I've been using these filters for years on my dirt bikes, ATVs, lawn mower, and roto-tiller.
Will it work on a 1990 yamaha xt 600?
    Steve C on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It should you just need room on the fuel line cut it and install. These work great I buy them by the handful.
will it work with a fuel injected bike?
    Josiah A on Jan 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Probably if you made sure it was sealed off well. FI is a pressurized system, not just vacuum/gravity fed.
Will this filter work on a gravity flow fuel system as on Honda 400ATV?
    cal M on May 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Should work, my Yamaha warrior has that system and works perfectly.
All of my dirt bikes have 8mm fuel barbs and lines. Why isn't there an 8mm(5/16") offering? Really don't want to choke fuel flow.
    Dave on Mar 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I tried running this filter and all it did was leak. I finally got feed up with it and removed it. As long as you keep the in tank/pepcock filter clean, you don't really need additional inline one.
What size micron filter is this? Is it suitable for FI bikes?
    CORDELL P on Apr 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is a brass particle filter, i do not know of its micron size. This filter is great for gravity fed systems , I believe it NON compatible with the high pressures of an EFI system.
What size fuel hose is this filter designed to fit?
    adam m on Jun 8, 2017

Will this work with a 2 stroke dirt bike?
    Tobin K on Dec 14, 2016
