Windshields

After a year and a half with a poly windshield on the Arizona trails, we were tired of wiping it off every half hour. Come evening, it was impossible to see to the west. First thing I did after getting home was order a Tusk glass windshield from Rocky Mountain ATV. Came in less than a week packed in a wood crate. I installed myself in 4 hours. Couldn't believe the build quality. It fit perfectly and looks great.

This + large flip down sun visors = perfect summer bug and wind deflection. Lots of air just not in your face! Also, the obligatory scratches from cleaning don't interfere with line of sight. I'm sure more than ready for the invention of true, scratch free poly windshields, or cheap full size tearoffs.

Great windshield, the wiper not so good, better than nothing. Windshield could use a little more ventilation.

Got this after purchasing a new 2026 Polaris RZ 900 Trail Ultimate with a Polaris full windshield, I thought I made a huge mistake with the full windshield? Thought I would try the Tusk Wing Vent kit. Worked great, I am very happy with my purchase.

2024 KLR 650 Adventure, I bought the tallest option late 2025, I have about 1,000 miles with it so far, mostly gravel roads and pavement so far. The shield does a very good job of blocking the wind. The bubble of still air is wider and taller. I ride with an ADV helmet and with this screen the air catches my visor way less if at all. If your planning to ride at highway speeds for an extended period this screen is almost Goldwing good :) I have not rode in technical dirt sections yet with this screen, I have plans for 2026, but I will say its tall and could be a problem if you're standing a lot riding aggressively. The screen sits noticeably further forward with a more forward rake or steeper rake, if that makes sense, giving about 2" more space between the GPS bar and the screen in the low setting. I am 6' tall with a 33" inseam and I do have it in the low setting so I can see over the screen while riding. This works well if I keep my back straight. If I slouch, long day on the bike, then the top of the screen does start to get in my field of vision too much. I will probably order up and try the medium height option as well. I prefer to look over the screen. I also ride more technical terrain at times (I almost never turn back). I do recommend this screen if your looking for really good wind protection. It is solid and does not flutter, shake or vibrate.

Glass fit perfectly, and very easy to install. As long you have two people.
