    Fork Oil
Correct oil for Yamaha forks used in a 2002 Road Star seems to be the same stuff that the OEM used and recommends will use again.

    Fork oil
I purchase this thinking that they were quarts, my bad there only 16oz. Two of these bottles will not fill my forks. Had to buy a third locally. Other than me not paying attention the oil works just fine.

    Exceptional value
For the price, you are getting excellent value. One pint for the price it is pretty good. It is a quality product from a reputable company. I use it in my 98' Honda CR125R.

hey what weight is best in frk oil for my 2013 YZ 250 stock forks and my 2013 YZ 125?
    LARRY M on Jul 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Larry, as much as I would like to give you a straight answer to your question, the variables are too much to overcome. I purchased the Yamalube 10W on the advice of the mechanic rebuilding the forks on my '07 YZ250F with Race-Tech parts. The biggest variable he told me in choosing the weight is climate. Here in Alaska things might be a bit cooler so a lighter weight oil for our May and September races is better.
I think you would be better served talking to a Yamaha Tech in your area so you get better and more precise answers.
    Sorry I wasnt more help.
    Take care and ride safe!
Any advice for oil weight for a 02 yz250 manual says “01” not sure what that means?
    A shopper on Jan 28, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I believe the Yamaha 01 oil is equivalent to a 2.5 weight. A lot of people find that 5 weight oil works well as a replacement.
How much fork oil do I need to buy for a yz250 2005?
    A shopper on Sep 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You would need to buy two quarts and refer to your service manual for exact measurements on the amount of oil for each fork.
