    Easy to work with
I read all kinds things regarding options for attaching handgrips, from hairspray to epoxies. This stuff seems like a good middle ground and I'm sure it will bond my new grip to the throttle tube, until I need to replace the grip. It's a surprisingly small tube, but for the average person, it's enough for several sets of grips. With the new pair of ProTaper bars I installed, I didn't use any on the clutch side; that grip will never move on the crosshatched bar surface.

whats the difference between yamabond 4, yamabond 7, and etc?
    Jolten A on Aug 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yamabond 7 is a grip glue.
Yamabond 4 is a semi-drying liquid gasket, used for things like putting cases back together. It's the grey colored one.
Yamabond 5 is drying-type liquid gasket (an extremely thin & runny black silicone). Use in strong vibration situations.
    Yamabond 6b is a black high-temperature silicone.
