    Not worth what they cost

Sorry to say but this is what I've come to expect with Alpinestar products, first time I put them on the hip seam tore, second time I put them on the other hip seam let go. When you're wearing them it feels like your wearing a diaper, not comfortable at all. The back pads actually were covering my butt crack and they kept falling down while walking around causing me to continually have to pull them up. Very cheaply made for the price you pay, I've had the same problem with other Alpinestar products and will never again buy anything of their's.

    Better than expected

Really happy with these! I've been using a bicycling type padded short but was looking for something with some additional padding for the occasional wipeout. They do run small as others have said so I bought a large (I'm about a 33 waist). They need a break in-ride as the first few minutes were a little uncomfortable. After that I barely felt them while riding. The extra padding on the crotch and butt area is nice for long rides and the occasional tank slapper mishap.

The hips, they do not lie

Came off my bike and landed right on the hip pad. Pride hurt, hip didn’t.

Needs more tailbone and cup protection.

You get what you pay for; however, I think Leatt can improve a couple of features. This product lacks any cup or groin protection, and the tailbone protection is limited. If they added a cup or groin protect along with more significant tailbone protection this item would be flawless. The fitment is spot on as long as you use their sizing chart. When I wear these I don't even know I have them on. As for protection, I have wrecked on hard pack as well as rocky terrain, and these shorts protected my waist perfectly. I had no bruising at all. I do recommend these shorts; however, Leatt does need to increase the tailbone protection, and they need to add groin protection.

    Run Small but great protection.

I usually wear. Size 34 jeans and the size chart put me right between the medium and large. I ordered both to see which one fit best and bother we’re too small. The medium I couldn’t even get on and the large I could get into place but barely fit. I am an average build with muscular legs from cycling. Hoping to help others on fit.
