Great product! This is a premium product at a reas...

I really like this jacket! The protection is great, the fit is great, the features are great and the price is great! There are shoulder and elbow pads and a back protector built in. So many pockets you will lose stuff. Vents on sleeves, upper chest and back panel which work well for air flow. There is a quilted liner that zips in with snap connectors in the sleeves and at the waist. The waist and sleeve straps customize the fit. The collar snaps down out of the way on warm days. Secures with Velcro on the cooler ones. I tried both the large and the medium sizes. I wear a 40 regular jacket and have a 32/33 inch waist for reference. I could have gone with the large but after trying the medium I found the sleeve length was much better with the medium. I tried both the sizes on with the same multiple layers - with the liner in, I wore a tee shirt, long sleeve fleece and Marmot down jacket. Although this was a bit extreme, the fit was fine with both size ARCs with the large being a bit more roomy but the sleeve length was too long. I went with the medium (in gray) and have been super happy! I also have the pants in size 32 (did a similar fit comparison against size 34 pants. Similar results with the 34s being too long). So far I've ridden in 33 to 80 degree weather and have been able to find the right comfort level for me. Haven't had to use with down in the cold and with the liner out and vents open very comfortable in the warmer weather. The collar digs a little when closed - its a stiff material. Only noticeable when first putting helmet on. I'm impressed with the protection. I took a digger at about 25 mph on a gravel road. Not even a scuff on the jacket and the pads did their job. (but next time the squirrel dies!) Bottom line: I am super happy with this purchase. I was surprised I could get this much value at the price.

    OK for the money

Good jacket for the price. I bought it to extend my riding season here in New England when the temps start dropping. I don't ride a ton that time of year so I didn't want to spend to much money. This jacket works fine for me. Warm when the vents are closed and good ventilation when they are open. There is a good amount of vents and tons of pockets. What I don't like: 1) No waist cinch. Cold air can blow up into the jacket. I trail ride so it isn't to big a deal for me because I'm usually not going very fast. If I was doing lots of road riding in the cold I could see how it would be very annoying though. 2) Poor zippers and mesh vent material. Zippers don't move up and down very easy. I've already snapped one off in my hands while trying to close it. When you open the vent there is a mesh material that, I assume, is to let in air but keep bugs out. 2 of them have had the stitching let go. Not sure why as it isn't really a stress point from what I can tell. 3) The main zipper is on the wrong side. (The left) By far the most annoying part of this jacket! Is this technically a womans jacket? I don't know. I do know that, as a man who's grown up his entire life with the zipper on the right, it's annoying as hell. It's ok for the type of riding I do but if you're going to be doing much road riding I'd recommend something else.

Tough stuff! Great fit. Tons of features.

Great quality very durable. I’ve been impressed with Klim gear and it takes a beating. Could have went for the XL (vsXXL) as there is plenty of room. But I was concerned with length. Some sort of waist cinch would be my suggested improvement. Arms and torso length were great for my size. Highly recommend.

Great careful with fit sizing...runs o...

Great jacket....but WAY WAY off on sizing. I normally wear a large. Based on the sizing measurements, I went with an XL....and it was too small bar far for me. I exchanged for a 2XL and it fits. I'm 5'9" 200 pounds
