I will start off with the good bits, the fit is great, they are very well made and so far very waterproof, but for me ultimately a fail in the design, for a number of reasons. I will say that these are a replacement for my adventure rally pants so there is some comparison but the complaints are I think fair for something costing this much. First the bottom of the pants leg, on the Rally the bottom of the leg had no gusset and could be opened up which made getting full motocross boots on very easy, the overland has a gusset and zip, to get full height boots on you have to haul the whole leg up and over the knee itis a real pain. Second there is little or no protection on the inside of the leg against the bike and on the inside of the pants nothing to prevent abrasion on the buckles. There is no protection at all on the front of the pant leg, if you catch it on something whilst riding there is no extra protection to prevent damage, I have not yet damaged it but there are a number of marks where the pants have been caught and it is I think only a matter of time. the pockets on the pants open forward and while access is good stuff falls out if your not careful and I am still not sure about long term waterproofing of forward facing zips, would be great when sat on the bike but they are in the wrong place and the zip "kinks" so opening them is a no go. The Knee armour is a "nighmare" it just refuses to stay in the right place, constantly gets caught in the top of my boots, never sits over the right place on the knee, and the pocket it sits in is a design disaster, previous versions had a pocket with open top so you slid the armour in, these have a seam across the middle of the pocket so you can insert the armour, when sat on the bike and the pants pull tight this seem sits right across the knee cap and is uncomfortable as hell!!! so much so that I have had to remove it and ride without knee armour in the pants. Klim make the SAME mistakes as every other manufacturer and regardless of size of garment everything is in the same place, so the leather panel that is "supposed" to provide grip against the bike, is POINTLESS as when you have the bigger sizes, and stand up its 3 inches above the seat/bodywork and contacts nothing!!! The quality of the fabric is noticeably lighter than previous versions of klim pants and way lighter than my rally suit, I have only done a few thousand miles but the pants are showing wear that just did not happen with previous versions. These are very costly and for the money I think the design is poor, simple changes would make a big difference, however if you are average height and wear adventure style boots it may not be an issue, but for me a deal breaker. I would not buy these.Read All Reviews

I've had a pair of Klim Move OTB pants for about 4 years..they were on the expensive side but definatly worth the money, great quality product. Time for a new pair and no question that I would buy the same pants. Four years later, these new pants certainly aren't the the quality of materials they were 4 years ago. Still good but disapointing to see a great product go to merly, 'good'.Read All Reviews

I purchased these pants a couple of months ago and have used them on two rides thus far -- the first was a one-day ride in the scenic areas around Las Vegas in January, and the second was the two-day off-road course at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina in February. I did not encounter any significant precipitation on either ride, so I don't know how well the rain-proofing is, but given the construction and performance I have experienced, I have every confidence that it will work flawlessly. PLEASE NOTE: That the pants do run small -- although the companion Pursang jacket seems to run true. I am 6'2" and right at 200 lbs. The XL was far too small, so I had to return them (which was hassle-free) and get the XXL. With the XXL, I can tighten them a little at the waist with the adjustment straps and they fit perfectly. So far, I have not ridden with either of the liners in. That is, I have just used the shell and been perfectly comfortable down to 41 degrees and cloudy/high humidity. I suspect with the linings you could ride to the Arctic if you were so inclined. I only gave a 3 on the "protection" because I am not 100% confident in the placement of the knee protection and the hip protection is pretty thin. Although, I will say that they provide great protection against thorns, etc. and I did come off the bike about 15 times at the BMW course, and the only injury suffered was to my chest, so they at least protected me well enough there to prevent injury. For the cost, I don't think you can beat these pants. I have taken them apart a couple of times and the zippers and snaps all seem to work well. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend them.Read All Reviews
