  It's beautiful, what is it? VELVET?

  Bought it for my old lady and she likes it a lot. I took a quick glance at it and the interior seems plush plus i like that it has the quick pull cheek pads in the event of an accident. It was cutting edge a decade ago and i like to see it making it's way into basic lids. My kid calls the flat black velvety, which is probably the best way to describe it.
