  So these might last a season, they are fairly cheap, with single stitching throughout. The padding is OK, the plastic is plain ole plastic molded, I suspect it will crack on a good fall, but it should protect on that fall as well and definitely prevent road (dirt) rash and branch whacks. So its not complete crap, its just cheap....Thus the price. This falls into the way better than nothing but not better than most realm. I just can't imagine these lasting too long, even without a crash. Bit tight if you have big forearms. Like I said these are way better than nothing.

  Comfortable until they start slipping down.

  Comfortable when they stay in place, but they keep sliding down no matter how tight I get the upper straps. While on a ride, every time I stop, I have to pull them back up. As for protection, I have been fortunate at this time not testing how they protect but figure that will be happening in the future.

  Great protection for your elbows!

  I wear these under my jersey as I ride in a ton of rocks in AZ. Pretty comfortable for all day riding and definitely protects you if you fall.

  Maybe the best elbow guards?

  I love the fit. Im about 5.10 ft tall. I wear these under my jersey and they comfy. They slide down a lil tiny bit, but they seem to find an appropriate spot and stay put well. They don't cut off circulation for me. Definitely protected my elbows this weekend on the track when i fell in the corners haha. flexible but very protective
