Whether on the track or trail, don’t go unprotected. ATV chest protectors not only protect from roost thrown up by other machines, they can also save you from the pain of that unexpected branch around the corner or that fall you didn’t plan on.
Fortunately, there are plenty of options. Many chest protectors are designed to fit over your jersey, and they are built to look great as well as offer the fortification you need. But not all of them are designed this way, so if you don’t like the idea of obstructing your jersey, don’t sweat it. We also have roost deflectors that can fit underneath your jersey.
Today’s technology enables chest protectors the ability to offer an exceptional level of protection without restricting movement or otherwise making you feel uncomfortable. We’ve got the top brands that are known for quality, including Leatt, EVS, Fox Racing, Thor and many others. Take a look to see for yourself.

The A-10 provides solid protection, it is easy to get on and off after a little practice and adjustment. It is fairly light weight but tough. It hugs you snugly, I find that a bit uncomfortable, but any good protector is not going to be as comfortable as a T-shirt. Your chest, back and ribs will be well protected and your shoulder will take a side impact. In my opinion there is far more protection here than provided by a regular roost jacket. Parts can be easily removed to your liking, which makes it versatile. But remember the more panels you take off the less protected you will be.

First know that this is design for maximum protection. It isn?t light, thin, or otherwise ?Comfortable? in comparison with a normal light weight cheap roost guard. This thing will take the hits that come with woods riding or dual sport falls on hard surfaces. I bought it for tight technical Idaho single track forest trails littered with tree branch spears and rocks that you will fall on. I thought it was gonna suck for comfort and then I forgot I was wearing it after 30-min and by the 2nd ride out, not even noticed it. Because it?s so thick and padded, my hydration pack vest doesn?t touch my body at all at that?s so nice! It?s expensive, it?s heavy, it?s thick and it is hands down the most protection you can get in vital organ and rib protection area.

Great protection but if you are on the stocky size like me I found that it would ride up at times and catch me in the neck.

Nice and comfy protector. I give it 4 stars because I have seen other protectors like Fox that are made of a thicker protective layer that offer better protection than this one.

So far this has been a great roost deflector. My son is 7 and it fits him pretty good with some room to grow. The straps are easy for him to take on and off. It?s also nice that it?s vented for the warmer weather. Over all really pleased.

Really really small (in the large youth size) might fit a 3-5 year old weighing less than 40 lbs
