From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.
Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their helmets address every aspect of the ride – protection, comfort, and performance. One never has to come at the expense of the other, making Bell’s helmets the most well-rounded and inclusive helmets on the market. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.
Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. Rider owned and rider trusted, Bell is the leading name in the game when it comes to helmet safety, comfort, and performance.

I was worried about the fit because I'm in between a small and medium. My head measured 22 inches or around 56 mm. I purchased a small. The fit was perfect. I have an oval shaped head.

The buckle is hard to work because the strap with the buckle on it is too short. The lever to lower the sun visor is very stiff and feels like it might break while trying to lower the visor. The helmet is well vented and is comfortable. There is plenty of room for your ears, I can wear my hearing aids with no problem.

I've got about 50 miles with the helmet and love the way it fits and feels. My comms mounted up easily. The field of view is good. It is a little wind noisy, but not obnoxiously.

Great Helmet. The peak doesn't catch any wind that I can notice. Very quiet with the visor closed. I just hope they make a Transition visor for it.
