From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.
Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their helmets address every aspect of the ride – protection, comfort, and performance. One never has to come at the expense of the other, making Bell’s helmets the most well-rounded and inclusive helmets on the market. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.
Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. Rider owned and rider trusted, Bell is the leading name in the game when it comes to helmet safety, comfort, and performance.

Top-Tier Protection and Comfort! The Bell MX-9 w/ MIPS Helmet is hands-down one of the best helmets around. Got one for my kid and he loves it! Right out of the box, the quality is obvious. The fit is snug without being tight, and it feels super secure without adding bulk or weight. The MIPS technology gives me peace of mind knowing I've got an extra layer of protection for rotational impacts. That's huge when you're pushing it hard on the trails or track. Ventilation is solid-it keeps air moving and helps keep things cool even on hot rides. The liner is comfortable, easy to remove, and washes up nicely. Looks great, fits great, feels great-and most importantly, it protects like it should. This is a 10/10 helmet for sure, and I'd absolutely recommend it to any rider serious about safety and comfort.

Looks good, but breaks easy, already broke my visor and chin strap button after 2 weeks of riding.

I am very happy with this helmet for a few reasons, I ordered the XL because my measurement fell on the line for l/XL . It fits very snug so seems a little small to size but perfect for me. My goggles fit well inside and field of view is decent. This helmet is way lighter than my last couple were so that's a plus. Chin strap is a bit short but does it's job

This helmet is comfortable, good ventilation and MIPS certified. I haven't used another brand of helmet but for the cost comparison it was hard to justify getting another helmet.

Love the way this helmet fits my head, my giant ears tuck right in to the voids perfectly, no pain on ears. Graphics are awesome. I'm coming off a "509" helmet which i actually liked very much. This helmet is much more plush, i did notice that it forced my 100% armega goggles to push down on my nose a tiny bit more than the 509. but helmets are like shoes, not one size fits all heads etc...
