From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.
Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.
Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. I picked up the O'Neill Sierra two full face helmet. The fit was perfect. I actually got one and it was too small and I returned it and got the next size up and it's perfect. The customer service is outstanding like companies of the old days when the customer was important.

I haven't treated myself to a decent new helmet in a long time. This helmet is better than I expected. Comfortable and solid. The visor, vents and functionality are well thought out. I've only got 25 miles on the helmet so far, looking forward to to some long trips with it

Super comfortable padding and fit. Not super heavy. Flip down sun visor is nice just wish it has a little more resistance in the switch, it comes down pretty far. It is very comfortable to wear additional sunglasses. Just beware that glasses with large frames will contact the top of the helmet and the helmet weight will be transferred to your nose. So just use small frame glasses and you will be fine. Wind noise picks up around 50 mph and its loud. The visor rarely catches the wind and there is good head stability. Things that would make it better. Earplugs or headphones of some sort for noise, it does tend to be hot and I didn't feel like the top vent even worked, maybe a little. great air flow through the front though. This is a buy one helmet have many kind of use. Its modular and the top visor comes off and it looks really good as a sport tour helmet. It also looks good as an ADV helmet. Would recommend, give it a try. Fits very nice on my round noggin. many good features for an entry level helmet. Only complaint is the noise and heat.

Great helmet. Looks great and fits pretty good, just a little tight in the cheek area. That might get better over time. The visor definitely catches some wind but it's nice that you can remove it when needed. Ventilation seems adequate but I haven't worn it in extremely hot situations yet.

I purchased this helmet from the recommendation from Rocky Mountain ATV I had never worn a modular helmet before. And boy was I glad I did. Its the simple things you might not think about getting a drink of water on a long ride, scratching your nose/face, or just talking to fellow riders while stopped for a few minutes. I purchased a size medium. It was snug against my cheeks (as it should be) , but not too snug that I might bite my cheek. The sun shield was a life saver as I wore glasses on my trip, and there was plenty of room for them too. My glasses did not interfere with the closure of my helmet. The helmet did NOT cause any additional pressure on my ears or nose from my glasses. The visor on top helped to shield the morning and evening sun as well. Another key factor was it is Bluetooth compatible and I had plenty of room for my microphone, and no wind noise There are two things that I would change about the design: one being Id like a quick release strap instead of the D-ring and two additional vent opening/closure on the top of the helmet. I was wearing a black helmet. So the summer heat got a bit hot! I highly recommend this helmet for comfort and affordability, so much Im buying it in white for this years adventure riding thru the dessert! Have FUN and BE SAFE my friends!
