From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.
Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their helmets address every aspect of the ride – protection, comfort, and performance. One never has to come at the expense of the other, making Bell’s helmets the most well-rounded and inclusive helmets on the market. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.
Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. Rider owned and rider trusted, Bell is the leading name in the game when it comes to helmet safety, comfort, and performance.

I picked up the O'Neill Sierra two full face helmet. The fit was perfect. I actually got one and it was too small and I returned it and got the next size up and it's perfect. The customer service is outstanding like companies of the old days when the customer was important.

4/5 simply because the lens it comes with is blurry and the shell seems larger then it needs to be. I replaced the factory lens with the tinted one and it's 100% better now. The helmet does seem pretty loud at highway speeds, but i wear pinlock ear plugs when I ride no matter what helmet I'm wearing so it's not a big deal at all. The fit is very good, no real noticeable hot spots after a 100 miles ride. Visibility is great and so is the airflow through the vents. The lens will hold at highway speeds in a partially open position too, which was nice yesterday here in Tx when it was 104* outside. The helmet could benefit from a better D-ring design, the one on it is pretty hard to work even without gloves on. A pinlock system would also be nice along with provisions to add a Cardo or some other com system.

Super comfortable and flows air really well. Relatively quiet even though I run the peak without the visor and goggles instead. As for goggles, my 100% Armegas fit even with the nose protection piece almost making a seal with the helmet's nose guard. I like how the Velcro for my Cardo was already in the helmet making placement of the mic and speakers easy.

Great helmet. Looks great and fits pretty good, just a little tight in the cheek area. That might get better over time. The visor definitely catches some wind but it's nice that you can remove it when needed. Ventilation seems adequate but I haven't worn it in extremely hot situations yet.
